Beware of Fraudulent Attendee Hotel Reservation Scam
It has come to the attention of IEEE Summer Topicals that “companies” are contacting meeting attendees, asking them to confirm their arrival and departure dates to get a better hotel rate. This, unfortunately, is a common occurrence with industry conferences and trade shows in recent years. and we recommend that you do not respond to these emails.
IEEE Summer Topicals does not sell its meeting registration lists nor does it authorize any third party to market to attendees.
How did they get your email address? Software programs can crawl websites in search of email addresses that are listed on them (identifiable by the “@” sign).
IEEE Summer Topicals cannot be held responsible for any interaction or sale with these fraudulent company(s). IEEE Summer Topicals takes this matter very seriously and will do whatever possible to protect attendees.
If you receive an email offering to help you with your hotel reservation, do not respond to it. By responding, even with a request to unsubscribe, you confirm that your email address is a valid one. This may increase the likelihood that you’ll be contacted again.

A block of sleeping rooms have been reserved for the convenience of the conference attendees. The conference rates listed are available three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the conference, based on hotel availability.

These rates are exclusive of applicable state and local sales/room taxes, fees and service charge, a combined 29%. Housekeeping and other gratuities are included within the service charge.

Los Cabos, meaning the Capes, is located at the very tip of the Baja Peninsula in México. Hilton Los Cabos is ideally located between colonial San José del Cabo and the vibrant Cabo San Lucas.
